What is Google Mail?

This is your email account given to you by the association during your time of employment/collaboration with ACTE. This is the email account to use for all your communications on behalf of the organization. The email address will also be used to create different user accounts for the different software we use. 

How to access your account

Login at mail.google.com with your username and password. You should have received an email with your username and temporary password.

Setup your email account on your devices

Before setting up your email on any devices, you have to login your account online and enable less secure devices:

    1. Click on the  button and select Account
    2. click on secure account.
    3. Scroll down to 3rd party access and turn on less secure app access.

NOTE: Make sure to enable calendar when you add the account on your iPhone

  1. Add your gmail to your iPhone
    1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
    2. Select Mail, Contacts, or Calendars and then Add Account and then Google.
    3. Follow the steps to enter your email address and password. (If you don't have the latest operating system for your iPhone or iPad and you use 2-Step Verification, enter an app passwordinstead of your regular password.)
    4. Choose the content you'd like to add, then select Save.
  2. The Google Account data you choose will sync with your iPhone or iPad. To see your content, open the corresponding app.

  3. Add your gmail to your Android device:
    1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
    2. In the top left, tap Menu .
    3. To the right of your username, tap the Down arrow .
    4. Tap Add account.
    5. Choose the type of account you want to add. ...
    6. Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.

Non-Negotiables: 

  1. Login your account and change your password. 
  2. Add your account on all your devices.
  3. Test to make sure you can send and receive emails on that account on all the devices.
